The Major Arcana illustrates the whole path of The Fool from naivety to enlightenment. The eleventh card of Major Arcana is called Justice, and it is ruled by the star sign Libra. The word “Libra” also refers to the Greek word for yoke, of the type used to harness oxen and horses. The astrological glyph for Libra resembles both a balance and a yoke. Criminals are yoked by the balanced application of the law, and spouses are bound or yoked together by matrimony. As The Fool meets with the young woman who illustrates inner strength, now The Fool seeks for answers and he finds out that all answers and all truth are within him. Everything he needs to know and everything which he wants to seek comes from within. He discovers that each person is unique and this uniqueness comes from the inside. As you may know from the previous articles, there are 22 cards in the Major arcana. The Major arcana illustrates the full path of The Fool. So as The Fool begins to feel very confident and powerful, he meets with the maiden and he is very surprised. First of all the maiden is the symbol of the card called Strength. This card is the eighth card of major arcana. So The Fool is surprised because this maiden was struggling with the lion, and the maiden won this struggle. This maiden was able to calm this wild lion and she gently and smoothly shut the lion’s mouth. This is really surprising, how this kind maiden could win the fight with the wild and strong lion. In fact The Chariot is associated with unlimited power and energy. The Chariot simply means that The Fool has the all the power that he needs within him and he can use it anytime and anywhere. So after meeting with The Empress and The Emperor, The Fool encounters The Hierophant. Now we will look at The Hierophant Traits.

Right before meeting with the Hierophant, The Fool is full of doubt. What if he is on the wrong road and his struggle is for naught? What if the goals and plans that he works hard for are taken away?
